i’ve read comments saying “she deserves to die for being a druggie” or “if her family cared that much they would have stopped her, not wait until after she’s dead to start a rehab center” or “that’s one more talentless person gone from the earth” etc… yes, she was a drug addict and she could’ve changed her life around but it amazes me how we can have so much hate. i thought she had a wonderful voice and i liked some of her songs it’s just a shame that she didn’t have more self control.

she has no one else to blame for her death but herself she had numerous offers of help and turned them down so i have no sympathy for her
People tend to be cold towards those who drink and drug their lives away. Addiction is no disease but a choice. No one made Amy Winehouse drink and do drugs. She chose to, and it eventually cost her life and her soul. I personally think that her death was sad and tragic, but she made that choice.
As others have said she had everything, she came from a good and loving family who did try to help her before she died, you need to look into it a bit more if you were a fan of hers. Her family did all they could to help her, she pushed everyone away who tried to help her and she did even get off drugs at one point but she was just self-destructive. Yes she had talent and a good voice etc… but at the end of the day she did bring about her own death, what she did in reality was commit suicide and most people do not understand that. Nor do they understand how someone who has so much going for them can be so stupid as to get hooked on hard drugs and booze. Given the fact she was booed off the stage at recent concerts because she was too high or drunk to sing she really isn’t going to gain a lot of sympathy from people. Harsh I know but also human nature.
Cause she Caused her OWN death. Sad but true, she had a serious drug addiction, and MAYBE loved ones DID try to help but she REFUSED. & if Not then i guess nobody really Cared about her addiction.
I myself am also very shocked at how rude and insensitive people can be towards someone death. It is down right disrespectful. I think Amy Winehouse was a very talented young lady. It is always sad when we lose a talented artist especially at a young age. Yes Amy Winehouse did abused drugs and alcohol and she did end her own life (so to speak) but to be disrespectful and mean about her death is unnecessary… period! People should have more respect and dignity for Amy Winehouse.
