I Need Advice on Chemically Straightening My Hair?

Question by KarenT: I need advice on chemically straightening my hair?
Because of a shoulder injury I can’t use my ceramic straightener any longer and really don’t like the wavy look. My hair is very thick and long. I also color my hair and have sensitive skin. I’ve tried the shampoos that supposedly straighten, but they don’t work. Does anyone have any suggestions or know if I should straighten first or color first and how long I need to wait between the two procedures?

Please ask anyone who has had it done as I am sure it make`s the hair weak.A wig a weave or hair extension`s may be better. Also I found when I coloured my hair with semi permanent dye it left my hair dry.You can never really get salon results with out their expensive shampoo`s and I`m sure they use special water to rinse your hair as I can never get the same results even when I use their shampoo`s.
