This might be a stretch if you aren’t very far in school, but “Hotel California” is a song about drug addiction, and how it absolutely imprisons you…it would be good to mention the line:

“You can checkout any time you like,
But you can never leave!”

When you look at the lyrics, it’s pretty obvious what it is talking about…it makes for an interesting song. I wrote a paper on it once, and enjoyed it.
