I was watching a document and a man left a can in hair relaxer. The can dissolved. Can hair relaxers really do this?

Depends on the ingredients. Most hair products like that have ammonia in them and other products that a person should be in a well ventilated area.. but the only way is to pick a brand and research that individual ingredients and research what the ingredients could do.
